In celebration of the rich cultural diversity of Wellesley's student body, many graduating seniors wear colorful stoles draped over their gowns on commencement day. Stoles are a beloved opportunity for students to show affinity to a community that enhanced their academic, social, cultural, and personal experiences during their years here at Wellesley.
Each stole costs $35, causing many students to debate whether or not they can afford to participate.
Between now and Thursday, March 7, help the 345 senior class members of Asian Descent, Harambee House, and Latinx proudly acknowledge their communities on commencement day by contributing funds for their stoles. Your gift will help tangibly celebrate diversity and inclusion at Wellesley! Gifts of all amounts are appreciated!
